The Growth Academy

Attended by small business owners or self-employed professionals The Growth Academy sessions are ran as monthly Academies during which we work closely as a group on the business challenges faced by the attendees as well as looking at possible collaborative opportunities.

We work within a structured format and the tone is informal but professional with the focus on the challenges faced by the attendees as they strive to take their businesses forward. Each Academy Session has no more than 7 businesses in attendance and as we don’t have long term contracts the attendees are there because they want to do be.

Although there are no long term contracts, the format is designed for an ongoing involvement and the majority of attendees come back monthly. We fully accept that needs change and running your business comes first so you are welcome to dip in and out of The Growth Academy as your needs dictate. We provide any support needed, we plug any skill gaps and we tackle any challenges head on, at all times sticking to the basic principals we founded The Growth Academy on.

The High Growth Academy

The High Growth academies are a cost effective way for aspirational business owners to access high quality business mentors who have experience in raising investment and investing. Cameron Thomson from Angels Den will be assisting Craig McKenna of The Growth Academy in the running of these sessions. Structured for business owners who are aiming to raise the finance needed in order to take their companies forward and building on the successful format of The Growth Academy "Academies", these sessions are ran monthly and focus closely on taking the attendees through the steps needed in order to maximise their chances of raising funds.

Working as a group and with the attendees individually we ensure that the business plans are as complete and strong as possible and there is a particular focus placed on the "go-to market" strategy and on demonstrating clearly how the business will make money once the finance is in place.

There is no long term contracts, and the format is designed for the attendees to come along for only as long as they need assistance. We do not guarantee that any of the attending companies will raise the finance they are looking for but we do guarantee that we will enhance their chances. In the current economic climate, investors are looking a lot closer on where the return will come from and the sales and marketing part of the business plan is more important than ever; this is where we are strongest.
